This 2024 release of Springbank 12 Year Old Cask Strength comprises a mix of 70% ex-Sherry and 30% ex-Bourbon casks, and bottled at its natural strength of 57.2%. This perennial favourite has a boatload of character and attitude.
NOSE: Toffees, raisins and red fruit, followed by chocolate and plums.
PALATE: The palate introduces soft peat smoke, with the familiar Campbeltown funk and oiliness, followed by the dried fruit, raisins, and chocolate.
FINISH: A long, beautiful finish that leaves you wanting more, with complex lingering notes of brine, smoke, and sweetness on the palate.

It is a fact that no distillery in Scotland is as self-contained as Springbank. From the malting of the barley, to the final stage of bottling, each and every step of the process is completed on site and is overseen and carried out by their team, led by their distillery manager.
Every stage of the process is carefully considered, from the source of our water in the hills around Campbeltown, to the heating of the stills, to help them maintain the quality and taste. Furthermore, their whisky is never chill filtered nor have any artificial colouring added. This ensures that the natural qualities developed during production are always present.
