This batch Redbreast’s cask strength 12 Year Old bottled in 2023 was made using a combination of malted and unmalted barley and triple distilled in copper pot stills. Matured the entire time in a combination of former bourbon and sherry casks. Bottled with a strong 57.2% vol. Non chill filtered.

Tasting notes

NOSE: Roasted grains with peppery spice, citrus fruits and zest, dry oak.

PALATE: Spice and sweetness in the mix, pepper and caramel, blood orange and grapefruit, dry grain.

FINISH: Warm oak builds, with baking spices, sherried fruit, and robust barley.
