The spirit for the Corriecravie Edition is matured initially in Bourbon Barrels before being finished for approximately 6 months in Oloroso Sherry Hogsheads sourced directly from producer Miguel Martin in Jerez, Spain.
The taste profile is slightly richer than its Kilmory expression, bringing to the fore notes of sweeter spices and rich fruits. The Corriecravie Edition is bottled at a strong and delightful 55% abv, without chill filtration and with no added colour.
Tasting notes
NOSE: Dark chocolate and spiced berries.
PALATE: Rich and mouth-watering, with subtle notes of charred embers and hazelnut.
FINISH: Charred oak, smoke, hazelnut, dark chocolate, and sweet spice.

For hundreds of years, to increase their income, small Arran communities made their own spirit in illicit home-made stills. The resulting whisky, which became known as ‘Arran Waters’, was smuggled from Lagg and sold on mainland Scotland.
