This expression elegantly presents an artful fusion of 30% ex-Bourbon barrels and 70% ex-Oloroso sherry butts. The single malt is a fruity and spicy single cask strength whisky at 61.1% ABV and distilled using local Fife barley.
After the Kingsbarns spirit has been matured in these casks, the resulting whisky is filled with flavours of fruit & spice. Full of toffee and fruity character, Bell Rock is brimming with luscious pecan pie notes and subtle baked fruits. Only 3,600 bottles are available worldwide in this limited release.
Tasting notes
NOSE: Rich velvety toffee, baked meringue, roasted almonds.
PALATE: Pecan pie, caramelised orchard fruits, fresh pastry.
FINISH: Caramel sauce, crème brûlée.

Kingsbarns Distillery is one of the newer distilleries in Scotland, located in the Fife peninsula, near St Andrews and owned by Wemyss family.
House style of this Lowland, Kingsbarns is elegant, soft and fruity. Its whiskies are predominantly matured in American oak. The distillery building has been converted from a semi-derelict farmhouse into an impressive modern distillery and visitor centre, at the heart of the distillery is an old ‘doocot’ (also known as dovecot) which is subtly incorporated into the Kingsbarns bottle.
