Distilled at the Glengyle Distillery of Campbeltown. The Batch 4 is a heavily peated whisky, almost twice that of Laphroaig. Like Batch 3 also matured in 80% Bourbon and 20% Sherry Casks, although it has spent slightly longer in wood than the Batch 3. Similar to Batch 3 as the cask mix is the same but slightly sweeter.

The name Kilkerran is derived from the Gaelic, “Ceann Loch Cille Chiarain” which is the name of the original settlement where Saint Kieran had his religious cell and Campbeltown now stands. Glengyle now produces a range of Kilkerran Single Malt whiskies, all natural in colour and non-chill filtered. All Kilkerran whisky characterises typical Campbeltown drams; rich, complex and perfectly balanced.
