Kavalan Triple Sherry Cask

40% | 70cl | 100% Sherry Matured | Kavalan | Taiwan

噶瑪蘭層豐雪莉三桶單一純麥威士忌 Matured in three different sherry casks; oloroso, pedro ximinez and moscatel. The oloroso is used with the intention of providing the dried fruit flavours and the PX and moscatel to drive the sweetness. Would arguably have been better at a higher strength but this is suited for those looking for whisky with sherry flavours but a more simple structure.

Flavour : Berries and dried fruits, with scents of grapes and citrus and a toffee sweetness. Hints of cinnamon, clover and spiciness, with some oak.

Taste : Sherry dried fruits. Sweet fruit, caramel, and honey on the taste buds.
