This 40-year-old Blended Grain Scotch Whisky celebrates all the glorious diversity found within the grain whisky category to create a Blended Grain with decadence, elegance, and flashes of bright citrus.

This highly unusual release brings together the distillery character of eight of Scotland’s closed and active grain whisky distilleries, and very successfully. Combining the rich and unctuous decadence and bright citrus notes characteristic of the component distilleries, this release is rare, unrepeatable, and utterly delicious. Only 384 bottles were released worldwide.

Matured in a combination of American white oak casks, bottled at natural cask strength, free from added colour, and is non-chill filtered. Only 384 bottles were released worldwide.

Tasting notes

NOSE: Rich, compelling and multi-faceted, the nose of this mature Scotch whisky bursts with aromas of baked sugar, caramelised banana, banoffee pie with a pleasing background hint of wood shavings.

PALATE: The palate is rounded and balanced with the character of fleshy stone fruits shining through above the classically creamy, generous aged grain whisky character.
