Glenfarclas is the iconic grand dame of Speyside. All their whiskies are fully matured in sherry casks. The classic character of Glenfarclas being rich, sweet and full bodied. The 17 Year Old was out of production for quite a few years and we are all excited to see it back again.
NOSE: Complex, with distinctive butterscotch, maraschino cherries and sherried fruit.
TASTE: Big, full flavoured with excellent balance, develops slowly. Fulll of sherry sweet malty notes.
FINISH: Long lasting and smooth with a hint of spice and sherry sweetness.
