This rare 22 year old single malt from Glencadam was matured in a single Pedro Ximénez sherry butt sourced from the highly regarded Fernando De Castilla bodega. Filled in December 1999 and bottled in October 2022, this whisky is presented at a beautiful cask strength of 53.9% abv, with an outturn of 687 bottles.

Tasting notes

NOSE: Elegant aromas of roast pecans and dried figs, mingled with cocoa powder, marmalade and cake spices.

PALATE: Sweet candied cloves and cinnamon, opening into cacao, chocolate fudge cake, salted caramel and oatmeal biscuits.

FINISH: Warming layers of dates, latte coffee, orange zest, and toasted nuts, leaving a cosy wood spice layer.
