Honouring the Wemyss family’s spirit of adventure, Darnley’s Spiced Gin explores a range of warming botanicals found as far afield as Africa, Morocco and China. Ten botanicals were then selected to give the desired depth of flavour to create a contemporary gin that is full and rounded.

Tasting Notes

NOSE: Orange, pine needles, rosemary, cinnamon, nutmeg, coriander, peppercorns and clove

PALATE: Mixed spices, ginger, freshly ground pepper followed by a hint of orange zest

FINISH: Coriander, cardamon, sage, and a dry lingering peppery finish. 

The Perfect Serve

Ingredients

• 50ml Spiced Gin
• Ginger ale
• Orange

Method: Fill a glass full with with cubed ice. Pour your measure of Darnley’s Spiced Gin and then top with ginger ale. An orange slice garnishes this serve perfectly.
