Cárn Mór Strictly Limited Fettercairn 2012, 10 Year Old, Tokaji Wine Finish

Distilled at Fettercairn in 2012, this single malt spent its first 9 years in Bourbon Barrels before being finished for 12 months in Tokaji barriques. This is Càrn Mòr’s first experiment using barriques that had previously been used for the sweet wines of the Hungarian region of Toka.

The result is a single malt that has combines the fruity and light cereal flavours of Fettercairn’s distillate, together with the sweetness and acidity from the wine finish.

A total of 900 bottles were produced for this expression. Non-chill filtered, and presented without any added colour.
