Black Bottle Alchemy Series #4: Andean Oak a limited edition exploration of the classic Black Bottle range, bottled at a confident 46.3% abv to best showcase its quality. This expression was finished in virgin Andean Oak — a species unique to Panama and Colombia — to elevate it with more luscious vanilla, spices, and complex tannins.

The result is a whisky that highlights a fusion of fruit and nut, with vanilla, toasted coconut, stone fruits and smoked almonds.

Tasting Notes

NOSE: Dried nut and rich fruit stand out against a backdrop of maple syrup and oak.

PALATE: Layers of vanilla, toasted coconut and caramel coated nuts fuse with raisins, cherries, nutmeg and cinnamon.

FINISH: Sweet with a soft smokiness.
