Arran 25 Year Old ise part of Arran’s core range that is released in limited quantities annually. There are 3,000 bottles available worldwide annually and as such this is a limited bottling. This is Arran’s oldest core range age statement available.
The whisky has been matured in ex-Sherry and Bourbon Casks and is bottled at 46% Vol without chill filtration or the addition of any colouring.
NOSE: Rich oak with a gentle nutmeg note. Sweeter aromas of baked ripe figs, sultanas and black cherries.
PALATE: Fruit cake with toasted almonds and cinnamon. The juicy zestiness of oranges and mandarins mellows perfectly with manuka honey, muscovado sugar, baked apricots and an interesting white pepper note that provides even more complexity.
FINISH: Sweet and spicy with dark chocolate, walnuts and dark fruits compote.

Arran Distillery started production in Lochranza almost 30 years ago. Many other locations were considered at the time, but the proximity to Loch na Davie which provides the special source of fresh water for was the reason for the current location. That has turned out to be an excellent choice as Arran whiskies have become highly sought after. Known for their tropical fruit flavours such as pineapple, mango and passion fruit. Arran whiskies also seem mature very well in cask finishes.
