This release from Sydney-based Archie rose was matured in their very own Triple Molasses Rum casks. It has all the classic notes the Australian whisky is known for — chocolate, coffee, stone fruits, and sweet malt — with added caramel sweetness provided by their own rum casks. As a fun yet refined spirit, this expression offers notes of sticky date pudding alongside rum and raisin ice cream, striking a beautiful balance between malt and molasses.

Tasting notes

NOSE: Amaretto biscuits, coffee, grapefruit, aniseed, milk chocolate and pistachio.

PALATE: Orchard fruits of peaches and apricots with toasted nuts, vanilla and bitter chocolate.

FINISH: Rye bread, dark chocolate, toasted oak and almond meal.
