The Carn Mor Celebration of the Cask Auchentoshan 30 years old 1992 was matured in bourbon barrel before it was bottled at 42,9% abv, non chill filtered and with no added colour, as a limited single cask release of 188 bottles. With such a long time in the cask, the light spirit that Auchentoshan is well-known for develops into a richly matured and delicate single malt with earthy toffee and crème brulee as its dominant notes.

Tasting notes

NOSE: Fresh oak with dried orange zest, crème brulee, treacle and toffee.

PALATE: Dried spices and earthy aromas followed by sweet (crème brulee and toffee), which takes over again.

FINISH: Warm and delicate.
